The completion of this album was inspired by the early years spent with my son and daughter as a young father. I never wanted to make this album like this. I was saving these tracks for a special moment. When I started this album I had a real strong emotional pull towards crafting a project that was worthy to present to God. I was inspired by John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" album in which he aspired to do the same thing. I had no clue that this "Dedicated" album would be a dedication to my son and the upbringing years of my young family. We struggled but we always had a great time. I lost more than a son. I lost my best friend in this whole world as well, the world lost a great citizen. I am sad, I am heartbroken and finishing this album has been the one thing that has help me together. I knew my son would enjoy it, so I had to finish it because through song is the only way we can communicate with the angels. Dear Lord I hope you accept my submission as one that is certified to be in your Kingdom and make sure you take care of my boy. See you soon Dunde. Dad loves you, this you know. Be Well my star.
